About HolidaysSky

Verified against official sources By HolidaysSky Editorial

HolidaysSky is a holiday calendar built for people who travel. The idea is simple: most sites tell you when you’re off, and most travel sites tell you where to go — almost nobody connects the two.

We do both. Every public holiday, long weekend and bridge day for 214 countries, verified against official government sources, and connected to the one question that follows: so where should I go?

Our editorial standard

  • Holiday dates are checked against the official national source — government gazettes, labour ministries and published holiday law.
  • Every date page carries the date we last reviewed it. Floating holidays are re-verified annually.
  • Travel and cost content is written and reviewed by humans, with named authors. We do not auto-publish.
  • Affiliate links are disclosed where they appear and never influence what we recommend.

Read our editorial policy for the full methodology.

Holiday data desk

We track public holiday calendars for 214 countries, working from primary government sources rather than aggregators. Every date was checked against the issuing authority before publication, and re-checked whenever a calendar is amended.
